Curriculum
At Ashiana, we take immense pride in
our student-centred approach, where each child’s unique learning journey is at
the forefront. Our belief is to teach the individual in the classroom rather
than teaching the class, ensuring that the needs and strengths of every learner
are met. Following the CBSE curriculum, our teaching methodologies are tailored
to accommodate various learning styles, making education both accessible and
engaging for all.
We employ a range of dynamic, interactive strategies fostering an
environment where students are active participant in their learning process.
From Science & language development to enhancing social awareness, our
approach aligns with student’s individual interest. Leveraging cutting edge
digital technology, we make learning both contemporary and effective.
Beyond classroom instructions, students are immersed in enriching experiences
through field trips, performances competitions, club activities, debates and
group discussions. These activities not only make learning enjoyable but also
nurture essential life skills, ensuring holistic development.
Kindergarten (Classes Pre Nursery -
KG)
The youngest lot of children need a safe and
secured environment, space to learn, to play and to grow. Our kindergarten
faculty is well trained and adopt a loving and caring approach to nurture the
needs of the little children.
A playful child-centered, and
activity based process of learning, helps children develop confidence, soft
skills, social skills, verbal abilities, motor skills and cognitive thinking .
A theme is adopted for the month, based on which activities are conducted,
worksheets are made and information related to the said theme is imparted to
the students. Additionally, special days and festivals are celebrated to
connect students to the roots.
Primary School (Classes I - V)
By the second phase of schooling, the thought
process of the child increases, and the teaching-learning process needs to move
to another level. We aim to make these years not only packed with learning but
also as enjoyable as the previous years.
The students are encouraged to participate in a broad range of activities marked
out for their respective age groups.
Senior School (Classes VI - X)
In this phase, children are growing fast and
learning faster. They are also exposed to a lot more than previous generations.
We try to encourage our students curiosity, and stimulate their intellect. The
curriculum is formulated to prepare them to meet and accept the
challenges of life ahead.
