Taewondo has been a regular feature at Ashiana for the past many years and with great pride, we announce that three students of our school participated in the 11th World Taekwondo Culture Expo and Championship 2017 held at Teakwondowon, Muju, South Korea. This International Taekwondo event was held from 13th July to 20th July 2017 in which 25 members from Chandigarh represented India. These members, who already are black belt holders from South Korea, were trained by Masters of Negi Taekwondo Tigers Academy (NTTA). The children were appreciated and applauded for their exemplary performance at the event making it a mark for the others to behold. The event consisted of two-fold level Poomsae and Fight Kyorugi It is proudly announced that Sabreen Kaur and Daman Kaur of Ashiana Public School were awarded with one Gold and one Bronze Medal each and Ishmeet Saini was awarded with one Silver and one Bronze Medal. The School Director and the Principal appreciated the team spirit and efforts put forth by the students in bringing laurels to the country as well as to the school. On the occasion the efforts put forth by the entire team of NTTA and the trainer Mr. Satyapal Negi were highly appreciated as well.
